HR Assistant for Payroll and Administrative Support

Avega S.à r.l., a leading provider of financial services in Luxembourg, is seeking an experienced HR Assistant for Payroll and Administrative Support.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding and offboarding employees in a professional manner.
- S/he will assist in processing monthly payroll, managing social and tax declarations, and preparing payroll reconciliations.
- This role also involves maintaining internal payroll accounts, managing HR administrative tasks related to holidays, absences, and benefits.
- The HR Assistant will also provide support with employee inquiries concerning HR and payroll-related matters.
- S/he will create employment-related documents, liaise with local authorities, and maintain accurate records of employee information and files.
- Additionally, this role requires assisting in developing and implementing HR policies and internal procedures.
About You:
- We are looking for someone with first experience in payroll/HR, who is interested in learning about HR functions and activities.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles is essential, as well as a willingness to gain deeper knowledge of Luxembourg labour law.
- The ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously as well as within a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are also required, along with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Fluency in German and English is necessary for effective communication with colleagues and clients.
