**Who we are**:
The Service Desk Consultant is providing front-line primary support to customers and internal users of Convotis infrastructures / managed services and undertaking established and routine activities associated with Service Desk operations as directed and assigned by its line manager.
**Service Desk Consultant (m/w/d) in Luxemburg**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support of internal and customer users (logging, categorization and resolution of service requests or incidents).
- Escalation and handover of service requests and incidents which do not seem possible to be resolved directly or alone.
- Ownership and handling of service requests and incidents (tickets) assigned.
- Issuance of required reporting and statuses inputs to the line manager.
- Completion all work in accordance with the internal compliance procedures.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation.
- Development of professional skill set.
- Collaboration with the existing team, capability of knowledge sharing with other members of the team.
- Fostering strong working relationships with Convotis customers.
- Completion of regular managed services / infrastructure health checks and verifications.
- Completion of other duties as required by line manager to support operations with clients or internally
**Skills**:
- Good communication skills both written and verbally in French and English.
- Clear, kind, and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge about basic infrastructure networking areas and services such as DNS, DHCP, routing, subnetting(practical experience is considered as an asset).
- Knowledge about infrastructure systems such as Windows server/client, VMware hypervisor ecosystem (practical experience is considered as an asset).
- Knowledge about Cloud infrastructure systems such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 (practical experience is considered as an asset).
- Experience designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining all types of servers, storage and network hardware is considered as an asset.
- Previous experience of working in a Customer Services/IT Service Desk role including use of service desk management tools is considered as an asset.
- Experience of IaaS & cloud environments and deployments is considered as an asset.
- Certifications in Microsoft and/or VMware products are considered as an asset.
