Objective of the traineeship:


The Group Strategy Department co-ordinates the EIB Group strategy, leads the operational planning process, and manages the associated performance analysis and reporting.


The traineeship is intended to support the next phase of the roll-out of a digital dashboard solution to facilitate operational planning, monitoring, and reporting across the Group.

This solution is based on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), utilising a multi-dimensional data model augmented with predictive analytics. Data is extracted directly from the EIB Group data warehouse.


You will report to the head of the Planning, Budget and Analytics division, and will work in close collaboration with other members of the team.


Responsibilities:

As trainee you will support the roll-out of the digital dashboard and continuously enhance its functionalities

Your tasks will include:

  • The creation of SAP analytics reporting stories;
  • The documentation of processes and procedures;
  • Developing training material for end users and data analysts;
  • Introducing the dashboard tool to various stakeholders within the EIB Group;
  • Supporting the continuous enhancement of the digital dashboard, including a wider range of information, new data points and new functionalities.

Academic qualifications and professional skills:

  • Final year of studies or University degree preferably in data / computer science, statistics, engineering, business administration, finance or related disciplines;
  • Solid IT skills and expertise of standard office tools (MS office);
  • Knowledge of SAP tools would be an advantage;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
