Outsourcing Governance and Oversight Executive

The Corporate & Investment Bank is looking for an Executive Director to manage the Outsourcing Governance & Oversight processes for the legal entities in Ireland. The Outsourcing Governance & Oversight team in Ireland is responsible for defining and maintaining the framework which ensures that the Irish legal entities are compliant with all regulatory guidelines for outsourcing.
As leader of the Ireland Outsourcing Governance & Oversight team and member of JPMorgan SE Outsourcing Governance and Oversight leadership team, the selected individual will drive the strategic agenda for the location, identify and execute process improvements to the outsourcing framework, enhance the overall control environment and work to proactively mitigate risk through effective governance. The Outsourcing Governance and Oversight Executive Director will also be responsible for managing regulatory change which impacts and informs the outsourcing framework. The role reports locally to the Ireland Country Head and functionally to the JPMSE European Head of Outsourcing Governance & Oversight.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure robust design and continuous update of the Legal Entity outsourcing governance framework to meet regulatory demands and changes, particularly within local branch jurisdictions.
- Promote simplification where possible in Third Party management processes by identifying synergies in partnership with firmwide tools and framework.
- Preparation/approval of reporting and presentation to the boards and committees.
- Execute and implement Outsourcing Governance and Oversight control priorities and strategy.
- Engagement with internal and external auditors, regulators and clients.
- Drive risk mitigation and control remediation programs in relation to Governance and Oversight across the business.
- Build positive relationships through on-time delivery of commitments and ensure effective communication with our stakeholders.
- Partner with the business and functional colleagues with regard to internal and statutory requirements for outsourcing.
- Implement and further develop an appropriate outsourcing management organization and corresponding control and monitoring processes.
- Ensure robust controls in maintaining full documentation of the outsourced activities.
- Implement and manage a robust process for the maintenance of a comprehensive inventory of all internal and external outsourcing arrangements.
- Ensure risks and issues are identified and timely escalated to the senior management and relevant risk forums.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior Control management experience on multi-cultural and cross location projects.
- Proven people management skills to manage and develop a team.
- Have demonstrated experience managing stakeholders, building relationships and supporting them towards achieving the expected outcomes.
- Be action and outcome driven to deliver within the given timeframes while dealing with conflicting agenda.
- Proven ability to deliver on firmwide objectives through supporting regulatory type projects.
- Ability to demonstrate ownership, work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions, at all levels of an organization.

- Communication & Stakeholder Management - ability to communicate clearly at all levels through comprehensive reports and presentations
- Any Big 4 experience an advantage
- Ability to lead Senior Forums with multiple stakeholders
