Operations Manager

As an Operations Governance & Oversight Manager, you will be responsible for managing the governance and oversight over Custody, Collateral and Agency Securities Financing on behalf of J.P. Morgan SE and its branches.
**Responsibilities**:
- The main activities of the position consist of ensuring high quality and timely processing of Custody and Trading Operations oversight related activities in line with JPMSE Outsourcing Procedure.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard agreed within the Service Level Agreement requirements.
- Mitigate financial/reputational risk by ensuring appropriate controls and procedures are adhered to in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Chair team meeting and monthly governance calls with local and external delegates.
- Preparation of monthly and ad hoc senior management reporting.
- Ensure robust design and continuous review and enhancement of the operational governance framework to meet the changing product as well as to meet regulatory demands and changes, particularly within local branch jurisdictions.
- Review of escalation items and other business escalated items/metrics/KPIs/KRIs, management of SLA with different service providers, as well as ensuring adequate contingency planning and testing are in place and appropriate for the entity.
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**:
- Fluent English language skills, fluency in other languages a plus.
- Experience of working within large organisation, preferably within the financial industry (7-8 years as a minimum).
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required to provide status to key audience in a concise, informative and timely manner.
- Capacity to lead with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to work in an navigate an international matrix organization.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills; team player.
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills**:
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and working experience in Securities Services businesses, especially Custody, Collateral Services and Agency Securities Finance.
- Strong organisational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritise requests and multi-task in the face of ever-changing and sometimes conflicting demands.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg and European regulatory requirements.
