Senior/Principal Operational Assistant - Data and Reporting .

This is a full time temporary position at grade 2/3.

The term of this contract will be until 31st
December 2025. _As this is a temporary replacement assignment, no extension or conversion of the contract is foreseen._**- _internal benchmark: Senior/Principal Operational Assistant _

  • Panel interviews are anticipated for March/April 2024._

Purpose:


You will contribute to objectives of Valuation Unit through updating databases, assisting in production of internal reports, supporting valuation and monitoring processes.

The current scope of projects includes investment funds financed through own resources and third-party mandates; you will be required to work on these projects simultaneously.

Accountabilities:

Under supervision of the manager and the guidance of more experience colleagues you will be expected to:

  • Perform quarterly updates of Fund Reporting System based on external reports: underlying projects, investors, fund's NAV, EIB's NAV etc.
  • Support the preparation of internal reviews of equitytype products: quarterly valuations, Project Progress Reports, and Climate Score Cards.
  • Assist in the production of both regular and ad hoc portfolio reports and compile financial and other information, according to needs and deadlines.
  • Prepare notes related to handovers to another monitoring team.

Qualifications:

  • Secondary level diploma complemented with equally qualified experience in relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience at a senior support level, preferably in a middle/backoffice function.
  • Experience in data processing would be a requirement.
  • Good knowledge of the Bank's organizational structure, processes and procedures (more particularly of equity operations) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the features of equitytype products would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of standard computer tools, particularly MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams. Knowledge of Business Objects would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and/or French, with a good command of the other. (Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage).
