Senior Fund Lawyer

**Senior Fund Lawyer - Boutique Law Firm, Up to 150K**

My client is an independent law firm firmly established in Luxembourg, and well known for its expertise in structuring and managing **Alternative Investment Funds** (AIFs), including Private Equity, Real Estate, and Private Debt vehicles.

The firm’s team of less than 10 professionals works in a an environment where communication and teamwork is key, from a junior associate to Partner level. They put strong value on maintaining close relationships with clients and both senior and junior associates are also involved on this level, meaning that the Partner really cares about offering learning opportunities to all lawyers.

The law firm offers support to an international client base, that is quite similar as the one you can find in Magic Circle firms for example, while providing a more personalized approach.

As Senior Associate, you will not only be exposed to intellectually stimulating cases, but you will also ensure the supervision and **management of a small team of (junior) associates**. This is a great step for you to move onto a Counsel position in time, and continue to work on your technical and managerial skills.

**Your Responsibilities**|** Constitution & Liquidation - Fund - Transactions - Advisory - Lawyer - AIF**
- You handle the full lifecycle of Alternative investment funds (e.g. RAIFs, SIFs, SICARs), from the fund set-up and structuring to the liquidation.
- You advise an international client base on regulatory and contractual aspects related to investment vehicles.
- You are responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating fund documentation and investor-related agreements.
- You supervise and mentor junior lawyers, ensuring they grow in their skillset and autonomy, and in order to ensure client satisfaction and the respect of deadlines. You maintain a direct and proactive communication with clients, participating in meetings and ensuring regular follow-ups.

- You have at least 5 years of experience as an Investment fund lawyer in a law firm in Luxembourg. If you do not have the Senior Associate title yet, that is not a problem, though you need to be a well-experienced associate that is capable of taking on the next step.
- You have a proven track record in Alternative fund set up and structuring.
- You are fluent in French and English. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
- You lead by example, providing guidance to junior team members while maintaining a hands-on approach to complex matters.
- You see the value in working as a team though you are also capable to work autonomously and to proactively look for solutions if needed. You are a Member on the Luxembourg Bar (there is no requirement regarding the List).
