In the context of our longstanding collaboration with a leading international law firm located in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Senior Associate Funds / Senior Fund Lawyer.

This law firm was founded numerous years ago and has grown to a team of 20 people today in Luxembourg. With a complete expertise including in Investment fund law, Commercial Litigation, Tax, and Corporate Law, the law firm has developed a very loyal client base. These clients are mainly international and the files represent different levels of complexity and investment strategies, ensuring you develop an outstanding technical level.

This expertise has allowed the law firm to create a stable work environment in which many team members have been employed since the beginnings of the law firm's creation in Luxembourg. Your Responsibilities | Senior Associate Funds – Fund Lawyer – AIF – Funds - Legal

• You are responsible for the fund set-up and fund structuring for alternative investment funds, in different investment strategies such as Private Equity, Real Estate or even Infrastructure. This will offer you the necessary diversity in your files. You of course also handle the day-to-day legal formalities that may arise for your clients.
• You draft and review legal documentation that may arise and ensure the necessary filings are submitted to the CSSF for example.
  You will be the first person junior associates and associates turn to in case they have questions, and you ensure supervision of their work. Of course, as you evolve and take on more managerial responsibilities, you will have the chance to move onto a Counsel role.

• This law firm is looking for a fund lawyer who has already acquired at least 4 years of experience in a law firm in Luxembourg. Experience with Alternative Investment Funds is also a prerequisite.
• Fluency in English is a must whereas French will be considered a plus. Other languages, such as German or even Luxembourgish, will also be an additional advantage in your application.
• You are a member of the Luxembourg Bar on List I, II or IV.
• You find it essential to work with international clients that can provide you with learning opportunities and the chance to be exposed to a variety of investment strategies.
• You are keen to work in a law firm that offers many career opportunities and that recognizes its collaborators' efforts. You will therefore never feel frustrated to not be promoted because there are no open positions to evolve in the team for example.
