**Who are we ?**

Brouxel & Rabia Luxembourg Law Firm (B&R) is an independent business law firm who combines the expertise of one of the best law firms with the proximity of a mid-size law firm.

The firm assists national and international renowned clients (mainly multinationals, private equity houses, banks, insurance companies, high net worth individuals, asset and wealth managers) looking for legal support for example in the fields of Real Estate, Investment Funds, Corporate Law, M&A, Private Equity, Tax, Banking, Finance and Regulatory matters.

**What should our new colleague have ?**

Due to the rapid growth of our Funds department, we are looking for a Senior Investment Fund Lawyer to strengthen our Investment team.

The position is designed as a full-time job.

**Your role**

You will be assisting our clients in relation to the entire life cycle of their fund projects, including:

- Structuring, operation, transformation and liquidation of regulated and unregulated investment funds with focus on alternative investment funds and their managers (AIFMs);
- Day to day contact with clients;
- Organising and participating in meetings and conference calls.

**Your tasks will cover**:

- Advising on the appropriate structure for the client;
- Drafting and reviewing of the fund documentation (negotiation of agreements with third parties, issuing constitutional documents) and ensuring the introduction and follow-up of files with the CSSF in order to obtain approvals;
- Advising on legal and compliance issues of client projects.
- You will assist and guide younger associates and be involved in organizing their work and facilitating the sharing of knowledge.
- You will prepare fee proposals, monitor budgets and oversee billing.
- You will participate in the business development and visibility of B&R by taking part in roadshows, conferences, clients’ trainings and writing articles on regulatory developments.

**Your experience and skills**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Investment Funds department of a recognized law firm.
- Excellent knowledge of alternative investment funds regulatory requirements.
- Ability to understand complex fund structures.
- Problem solver.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills, both verbal and written in English and French.
- Excellent analytical skills and pragmatic approach.
- Team spirit.
- Proactive and reliable.
- Well organized, flexible.
- Ability to work independently.

**Your qualifications**
- Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar or another EU Bar.
- LL. M and/or MAS and/or J.D. degree.
- Fluent in French and English, any other language such as Italian or German would be an asset.
