We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Luxembourg-Strassen. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our industrial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Job ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing customer orders from quotation to payment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Raising orders and processing invoices for staged payment deliveries.
- Handling contract setup, updates, and liaison with internal departments.
- Monitoring call-offs, stock orders, allocations, and consignment stock.
- Setting up and updating price lists and pricing structures for customers.
- FOLLOWING all procedures related to discounts and rebates contracts.
- Managing customer expectations regarding lead times and proactively chasing backorder items.
- Dealing with customer inquiries, including late deliveries, faulty goods, and stock discrepancies.
- Providing customers with data sheets, account creation, and other requests.
- Escalating inquiries beyond their remit to internal or external teams.
- Following the material return process for defective or wrong deliveries.
- Raising credit notes for material returns and price discrepancies.
- Cordinating and monitoring order fulfillment, including logistics, production, and finance.
- Setting up new accounts and sending customer credit application forms.
- Taking full responsibility for assigned customer accounts.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Fluency in Dutch, English, and French is mandatory.
- Strong customer orientation, resilience, and professional phone manner.
- Autonomy, organization, motivation, and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- ERP and CRM experience.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Windows environment and interest in technical equipment.
- Problem-solving skills.
