**Job Description**:
Our client is a UCITS ManCo and AIFM. They are looking to hire a German speaking Sales Director to drive their expansion in Europe, with specific focus in the DACH region.
This is a superb opportunity to define, develop and implement the growth strategy across the DACH region. You will have significant knowledge of Fixed Income and Equity products and proven sales experience. Our client has a historical network in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland - you will need to build upon this and leverage your Sales experiences and network in Germany. You will target institutional clients and family offices.
This role is based in Luxembourg although travel will be required. Our client is an asset manager with a stable office In Luxembourg city center.
Responsibilities will include:
- Define, develop and implement a growth strategy across the DACH region
- Increase assets under management and sales opportunities for DACH region
- Work closely with institutional clients and family offices in the DACH region to optimize growth & profitability in line with defined growth strategy
- Develop the company’s brand and presence in Germany
- Understanding client needs ; promote capabilities/investment solutions accordingly and understand feedback for purposes of possible new product generation
- Organize regular client meetings and roadshows in DACH region, ensuring all updates, meeting notes and potential business/cross selling opportunities are reflected in Salesforce
- Build strong relationship with colleagues (e.g. Sales, Portfolio Managers, Compliance) in Luxembourg, London and Spain; and represent client on external forums, workshops, client events
- Ideally 8+ years of leadership experience working in Sales, ideally with previous working experience for an asset management company and with focus on DACH region. Must have successful track record of growing business and AUM in DACH region
- Good network of family office & institutional clients based in DACH regions (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) is essential
- Excellent knowledge of UCITS, Fixed Income, Equity, other relevant products/strategies
- Effective communication skills have the ability to build/grow existing relationships, network and present.
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written IS A MUST; other languages including French would be advantageous
