**Job Description**:
We are looking for a dedicated & high-performing Sales & Account Director to guide our customer acquisition, customer care and revenue growth objectives in Europe (excluding Switzerland and Germany). Operating out of our Luxembourg office, you will be a self-starting professional with managerial experience and a proven track record in Sales and Account management. Supported by a team of highly skilled and committed Sales, Solution Consultants and Key Account Managers, you will drive new business initiatives and develop the existing client base.

You will need to demonstrate well rounded knowledge of the Private Banking & Wealth management industry and marketplace in the region. Additionally have the ability to speak with authority, e.g., on market trends, best practices, competitive practices, regulatory issues, etc. This role is a quota bearing role.

**Sales and Account Director responsibilities are**:

- Developing and executing sales strategies, tactics and action plans in order to achieve sales targets within assigned region and accounts
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the region including the customers, the prospects, the partners, the influencers, and the competitors
- Drive events and raise the profile of Avaloq within the region
- Analyse pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic reporting with key business insights such as Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss
- Responsibility for the overall health of accounts within the region and ultimately ensure customer success and satisfaction
- Providing coaching and guidance to the team to close their deals
- Setting objectives and targets for team members to drive a closing culture
- Guide team members to generate and maintain accurate Account and Opportunity plans
- Guide team to plan and execute campaigns & pipeline generation activities in region

**Qualifications**:

- Strong proven track record of Sales leadership in the Wealth and Core Banking Industry.
- Extensive experience leading both Business Development and Account Management Functions.
- Proven Sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent negotiation skills, a good business sense, and strong leadership with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and ability to negotiate complex deals
- Proven financial Acumen: Use financial analysis to make decisions, evaluate opportunities and choices; know how financial decisions impact business success
- A consultative mindset, passion for success and a strong collaboration attitude.
- Must be fluent in English and French
