Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.- Within the legal department, you will be responsible for all legal and corporate aspects of the investment’s funds allocated to you. The position is based in Luxembourg. You will report to the Head of Legal.**Your role**:

- Draft and update the legal documentation of Luxembourg funds (UCITS and AIFs) and follow up with the CSSF where applicable
- Negotiate and draft all contracts related to the funds (delegation of management, administration, custodian bank, services, etc.)
- Prepare various funds board resolutions
- Provide legal support
- Work with different teams such as Operations, Finance, Investment Specialists and the Product Managers to implement product solutions
- Assess and strengthen the product offering in terms of viability, relevance, value-add for the clients and alignment with the wider business strategy
- Collaborate actively with the other expertise groups of the legal department, and more generally, with the other departments of Pictet Asset Management
- Maintain strong awareness of the relevant industry
- and product-related trends and regulations (e.g. SFDR) to ensure leading product positioning
- Act as a leader of continuous improvement of our governance and product development processes

**Your profile**:

- Attorney’s licence
- At least five years’ experience in law firm or legal department of a management company/AIFM
- Proficient knowledge of the Luxembourg and EU laws and regulations affecting the Luxembourg domiciled funds and the asset management sector, in particular UCITS and AIFs
- Ability to work with different service providers, both legal and operational
- Strong attention to detail
- Natural communicator and enthusiastic personality
- Eager to learn, helpful and solution driven
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with teams in multiple locations
- Complete proficiency in English and French and at ease discussing complex legal matters in both languages
