Our client is a private, global organization whose unique ecosystem includes philanthropic and investment activities with the shared goal to create value for society. Through its integrated capital approach, the company leads on ESG and directs investment returns to fund nonprofits. The company's mission is to grow and leverage the returns of its investment activities to fund philanthropic foundations that are actively fighting climate change and promoting regenerative food system.

**The role**:
**Financial modelling**: develop and maintain Excel models to monitor investment performance both from a financial and ESG standpoint. Develop and maintain Excel financial models for valuation and reporting purposes as well as for monitoring overall portfolio risk and liquidity
Involvement in all aspects of deal process including sourcing, analysis, and deal execution
Participating in calls and meetings with management of current and prospective portfolio companies and with intermediaries such as bankers and lawyers
Involvement in portfolio reporting, including ESG, valuation, performance review, financial analysis, risk and liquidity monitoring
Assist in building and defining the framework for ESG integration
Assisting with preparation of investment committee materials
Stay current with industry trends, market conditions and provide insights to the team. Conduct in-depth industry and sector research formulating proactive investment theses

**Profile**:
Finance or engineering master's degree from a top-ranking school or university
Strong corporate financial background (financial statements and enterprise valuation techniques)
2 years of successful experience in audit, transaction services, investment banking or consulting
French and English fluent speaking
Luxembourg based but frequent travels especially to Brussels, but also Paris and London
Strong understanding of financial statements
Outstanding Excel modelling with demonstrated experience in the field
Understanding of ESG concepts and frameworks
Obsession for details; Problem solving mindset & Ability to research information and summarize it
Strong communication skill; Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and independently
Curiosity & willingness to learn
Ability to work under pressure
