(Senior) Associate Banking & Finance – Small Team, Strong Growth

My client is an international business law firm with a strong and growing presence in Luxembourg, recognized on the local market for its high-quality legal work and its modern company culture. The firm combines the advantages of a global organization, nearly 500 lawyers worldwide, with the accessibility and agility of a human-sized Luxembourg office of around 40 people.

The Banking & Finance department is composed of less than 10 professionals, including one partner, and is considered one of the firm's most dynamic teams. The group benefits from a stable workflow, a diversified client base, and an excellent reputation among financial institutions, lenders and international investors. Thanks to its size, every lawyer enjoys direct access to the partner, real involvement in transactions and fast exposure to client-facing responsibilities.

As the Banking & Finance practice continues to expand, the firm is now looking for a (Senior) Associate ready to take ownership of files, contribute to ongoing deals and grow within a high-quality yet human environment.

Your Responsibilities | Senior Associate Banking & Finance – Law – Legal – Avocat – B&F

• You assist lenders and borrowers on acquisition finance, real estate finance and corporate lending transactions.
• You draft, review and negotiate agreements, security documents and transactional contracts.
• You coordinate with clients, banks and foreign counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters.
• You contribute to the team's internal knowledge and support juniors when needed.
  In time, you will of course be able to grow within the team by becoming Senior or Counsel (depending on the level of seniority you currently have)

Profile and Career Path | Senior Associate Banking & Finance – Law – Legal – Avocat – B&F

• You have at least 3 years of experience in a Banking & Finance department of a Luxembourg law firm. The firm is open to recruit either an Associate or Senior Associate, so more experience is welcomed.
• You have a strong command of English and French, both written and spoken. Any other language will be considered an advantage.
• Solid understanding of Luxembourg lending frameworks and secured finance.
• You enjoy working in a small, close-knit team, where collaboration and communication are central.
• You are of course a member of the Bar, either in Luxembourg or another European jurisdiction.

• A salary package of up to €130,000 gross per year, on an employee-based status, places you in a very comfortable remuneration range. You will also have an annual bonus to reward your efforts.
