Associate Banking & Finance – Accessible Partners, Human Sized Law Firm

In a dynamic and easily accessible partof Luxembourg city, you will find this international yet human-sized law firm, that has had the opportunity to develop itself in several European countries over the years. As the law firm is continuously growing, they are currently seeking to strengthen the team with an Associate Banking & Finance.

With around 30 lawyers (ranging from junior associate to Partner) in the Luxembourg office and slightly less than 10 people in the Banking & Finance team, as well as several hundreds on an international scale (specialized in several fields such as Banking and Finance, Corporate law, tax law and more), you are certain to be surrounded by highly skilled and dedicated colleagues and to benefit from a shared know-how.

This law firm has been particularly careful with choosing the clients they assist, mainly because they want to protect their good reputation especially in a small country as Luxembourg. The majority of their clients are internationally implanted and have trustworthy activities and strong values.

You will have exposure to investors in venture capital and private equity, banks and financial institutions, hedge funds and so on. This means that technically speaking, you will always continue to acquire new skills and grow in the complexity of the files confided to you.

Your Responsibilities | Law – Legal – Law Firm – Banking & Finance – Droit - Avocat

• You are in charge of offering your clients legal advice on a wide variety of matters relating to banking transactions, business ventures and regulatory issues.
• You are responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and other legal documents.
• Conducting legal research and staying up to date with regards to any legal developments in your field allows you to adequately assist your clients.
  As Associate, you will have the chance to be involved in some of the most technically interesting files, working directly on them with the Partner in some cases, offering you a lot of learning opportunities.

• You have at least 2 years of experience as an associate in a law firm based in Luxembourg, more specifically in the Banking & Finance department.
• Experience acquired in a Magic Circle or international law firm is considered a plus.
• A good level of English and French is required for this position, as the international network of this law firm has allowed them to develop a prestigious and renowned client base.
• You have obtained a Master's degree in Law as well as the CCDL. You are also a member of the Luxembourg Bar.
  You would describe yourself as an entrepreneurial person and are seeking to invest yourself in a law firm where everyone benefits from each other's experience and know-how.
