**Senior Payroll and Benefits Officer**
Reports to Payroll Manager
The purpose of this position is to provide Payroll and Benefit support the Aztec Group employees in Luxembourg as part of the group Payroll team. operates with the primary focus being on the provision of accurate, timely and efficient payroll and employee benefits services.
**Key responsibilities**:
- You will be responsible for the day to day processing of the Luxembourg payroll c. 600 employees
- Work with wider HR team to ensure all changes are captured and included in the monthly payroll
- Responsible for membership changes and information sharing with the Benefit providers
- Act as the main point of contact with external payroll/benefit provider and third parties (Tax Authorities, CCSS, banks etc.)
- Ensure wider team are aware of new and changing regulations and legislation in Luxembourg and that they are correctly reflected in the payroll and policies
- Be the main POC for Lux based employee queries
- Participate in the improvement of processes across the group payroll team, provide support for other jurisdictions where required
**Skills, knowledge, expertise**:
- You have a university degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or HR
- You have at least 3 years of successful experience in payroll management in a fiduciary environment
- Excellent accuracy, numeracy and data entry skills and good attention to detail
- You have a very good understanding of Luxembourg tax and social legislation
- You speak fluent English and have a good level of French
- You are very well organised
- You are resistant to stress
- You have an analytical mind with good knowledge of Excel
- You can build strong relationships and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Good computer literacy skills are essential; advanced user of MS Office products specifically Microsoft Excel
- Travel to other jurisdictional offices will be required
We will provide the training, both in-house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
