**Summary**:
Our client is growing its Private Equity team following the onboarding of new funds. They are looking for a new joiner at management level. You will have the opportunity to grow and be promoted within the company.
You will work half of the week from the client’s office, and half for the company hiring you.
They have around 150 people in their office and are flexible when it comes to career progression. You could either spend more time in client’s offices, or grow within the company.
While at the client’s, you will work closely to transactions.
This role offers a great range of tasks and you would cover different aspects of funds/entities, it’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys having a diversified day-to-day.
The company has 1 single owner, meaning you will have access to top-management easily.
They have been in Luxembourg for some years now, but still work a bit as a start-up, they’re open to new ideas and creativity.
They took the time to grow slowly and have a low turnover. Hence, being a great team-player is key to them.
Some of the duties include:
- Controlling and overseeing all financial aspects for unregulated AIFs, regulated SICARs and for SPVs: review the work done by the team and by service provider;
- Manage a team of 4-5 Senior Accountants: motivate them, provide training, appraisal;
- Be in charge of the relationship with external counterparties;
- Ensure procedures are followed and that the company follow the relevant regulations;
- Build-up strong relationships;
- Participate to various projects.
**Key requirements**:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, finance (ideally from a Service Provider or asset management company);
- Fluent in English;
- Experience working with Private Equity SPVs required;
- ACCA qualified or equivalent (OEC, CA, etc ) is a plus;
- Experience in managing / supervising a team.
