Fund Accounting Senior Manager – Lead NAV Oversight in a High-Calibre PE/RE Environment (Contract, Luxembourg)

Are you an expert in NAV oversight with leadership experience in fund accounting? Join a high-performing team in Luxembourg on a contract basis, where you'll play a hands-on role in managing complex Private Equity and Real Estate fund structures.

We're hiring for a Fund Accounting Senior Manager to work with one of Europe's most respected financial institutions. This isn't just a people-management role — it's a unique blend of operational oversight, technical excellence, and mentoring junior staff, making it ideal for someone who thrives on being close to the action.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reviewing detailed NAV calculations and complex fund accounting files.
  • Leading on technical challenges, including performance/waterfall/fee models.
  • Acting as an escalation point and key contact for client communications.
  • Supporting, mentoring, and motivating junior staff across accounting tasks.
  • Driving operational improvements and engaging in transformation projects.

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in fund accounting, with a strong alternative investment background.
  • Proven leadership in technical and operational areas — not just management from a distance.
  • Expertise in NAV calculations and related fee structures.
  • Hands-on mindset and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
