RSM Financial Services Luxembourg is currently looking for a dynamic person with the following profile:
Manager – Fund Administration – Accounting and Reporting (Private Equity / Real Estate)
As a Manager, you will play a key role in supervising and guiding the accounting teams dedicated to our clients in the Private Equity and Real Estate sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverables, managing client relationships, and driving continuous improvement across internal processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Client Relationship & Supervision
- Act as the main point of contact for client representatives, auditors, custodians, and property managers, regarding accounting matters
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting information exchanged with external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, anticipating needs and providing tailored solutions.
2. Administrative Oversight & Compliance
- Supervise and ensure administrative follow-up related to investments and accounting documentation (loan contracts, agreements, etc.).
- Guarantee proper archiving and documentation control in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
3. Client Meetings Management
- Organize and coordinate periodic client meetings.
- Prepare strategic materials and guide the team in presenting results and addressing accounting queries.
4. Banking Operations Control
- Oversee daily banking operations and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Implement second-level controls to guarantee accuracy and compliance of recorded transactions.
5. Capital Calls & Distributions
- Lead and coordinate the collaboration with the Transfer Agency team regarding capital calls and distributions.
- Ensure smooth execution of processes and proactive communication with clients and internal teams.
6. Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Manage and mentor the accounting team in their daily tasks.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and initiate continuous improvement projects.
- Support staff development through training and coaching to strengthen both technical and interpersonal skills.
Your profile:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in Private Equity/Real Estate fund accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role.
- Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English and French; German or Luxembourgish is considered a plus.
- Recognized leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality and client service.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel; openness to digital solutions and innovation.
