More Driven.** **The opportunity** In response to the promotion of Senior Auditor to the EMEA Technical Accounting Manager role, we are looking for a proficient Senior Auditor, based in Luxembourg, to join EMEA Internal Audit. **The EMEA Internal Audit environment**: - Dynamic vibrant team atmosphere - Opportunity to broaden business understanding by performing a wide range of audits (plant audits, country audits, retail audits, stock counts, project audits, compliance audits, investigations, etc.) - Opportunity to build an EMEA wide network - Opportunity to have an impact on our organization - Provide world class assurance (keep the organization out of trouble) - Provide business advisory (making things better) - Play an active role in developing top talent / future leaders **The Role**: - Execution of audits in close alignment with Lead Auditor and Manager; with more experience gradually also taking over the lead of specific audits, including the audit risk assessment (based on Management interviews and analytical reviews), performing testing and recording time spend for each audit/project in relation to the budget - Actively participate in audit opening and closing meetings, provide on-going updates during audit fieldwork to Internal Audit Lead, Internal Audit Manager, and other audit stakeholders - The execution of internal audit fieldwork; provide timely feedback to the Internal Audit Manager on status of audits and projects to ensure timely resolution of open issues - Prepare and verify audit issues based on testing performed - Draft internal audit reports - Perform compliance audits on behalf of the Compliance and Ethics team - Travel: up to 20% **Profile**: - Vast experience in one/some of the business areas e.g. Manufacturing Finance, Pricing, EH&S, Controlling, FP&A etc. - Assessed to have "High Potential" during 2021 year-end discussions or an EP rating within the last two years - Track record of being a team player and able to interact with different levels of management - Ability to interface seamlessly with different levels of leadership - Strong communication skills with an ability to listen effectively and articulate business cases - Have the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities and propose solutions/alternatives in a proactive manner - Attention to details and accuracy - Capable of working independently - Exceptional organizational skills - Ability to work in a very fast paced, multi-tasking environment - Open minded and pro-active - Strong problem-solving skills and mentality - High sense of urgency and ability to deal with multiple and/or conflicting priorities - Collaborate and make decisions on the information provided **Nice to have**: - Knowledge of Goodyear Policies - ACCA or CPA or CIMA or CIA or CFE or CA - Exceptional Internal Controls skills - Exceptional process skills (Procurement or FP&A or AP, etc.) - Two or more years of external audit with a Big 4 - Strong knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (i.e. ERP system, SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills - Comfortable to drive a car in the UK / South Africa (left side)
