**The Opportunity**
We are currently looking for a paralegal as Principal Coordinator Intellectual Property EMEA to join our team in Luxembourg. This position supports the Senior European Patent Attorney in Luxembourg on all IP matters.

In this position, and under the supervision of the Senior European Patent Attorney, you would be responsible for:

- File and maintain patents, designs and trademarks;
- Conduct trademark searches;
- Draft and process IP agreements in GCS from request to execution and communicate with external parties;
- Establish monthly competitor IP information;
- Coordinate global IP Committee(s) for decision-making relating to patent filings, foreign patent strategy, maintenance and abandonment of IP assets;
- Instruct external vendors and law firms and process invoices;
- Execute documents;
- Monitor costs and budgets;
- Handle administrative tasks in the IP department (correspondence, organize travel, expense reports, statistics,)

**To join our team, you will need**:
**Education**:
A qualification as paralegal and/or a degree in law or related

**Languages**:
English is mandatory; French and/or German would be appreciated

**Experience**:

- Extensive experience as paralegal either in a law firm or in an inhouse legal department,
- Experience in Intellectual Property matters and/or as office manager in a law firm or in an inhouse legal department.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and organizational skills: reliable, trustworthy, thorough, innovative,
- Negotiation skills,
- Good understanding of IT tools (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, IP databases);
- Some financial knowledge.
