**Coordinate Resources to Keep Luxembourg Moving**
Sales-Lentz, a leading mobility provider in Luxembourg, is hiring a **Head of Mobility Planning** to oversee the planning and availability of our operational resources—drivers and vehicles—for both regular and special transport services.
You’ll sit at the intersection of planning, dispatch, systems, and operations. This is not a line management role—it’s a strategic coordination position ensuring that people and vehicles are available where and when needed, backed by robust systems, clear processes, and strong cross-functional communication.
The role blends operational oversight, system ownership, and data-driven planning. You’ll serve as a key coordination point across teams to help us deliver safe, reliable, and efficient mobility services.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Provide strategic oversight of both the conceptual planning as the driver and vehicle dispatch team, ensuring their respective managers work in alignment to deliver a coherent and efficient transportation plan.
- Ensure the day-to-day and long-term availability of drivers and vehicles across all transport lines.
- Act as the functional Product Owner for our planning software, liaising with the supplier and IT to align tools with operational needs.
- Support the digitalisation of planning processes (including DBops) to improve automation and reduce manual tasks.
- Coordinate closely with the control tower, which manages real-time operations and emergencies, to ensure planning decisions are resilient and adaptable.
- Model operational resource requirements to support tenders and internal decision-making.
- Provide input for annual budget planning and forecasting based on historical and projected operational data.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally with planning, dispatch, IT, and leadership—without direct line management responsibilities.
**What We’re Looking For**
- At least 8 years’ experience in transport planning, logistics, operations, or resource coordination.
- Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with transport planning systems and workflows.
- Ability to coordinate across departments and act as a point of reference within the organisation.
- Experience as a key user or Product Owner of an operational software tool is an advantage.
- Proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented profile.
- Fluent in French; English and/or German is a plus.
