We are looking for a proactive in-house Corporate Officer Transactions to join our Legal and Compliance team. Based in Luxembourg you’ll be part of a young, dynamic and professional Legal and Compliance team, working alongside colleagues from all over Europe. You’ll report to the General Counsel, based in Leeds and work very closely with the Legal team and with other Corporate officers supporting Mileway transactions.

**What you’ll do**
- Support Blackstone and the Mileway Transactions team on all corporate support and project management legal related activities on new acquisitions across various European countries
- Assist with the co-ordinating of acquisition/holding structures
- Collect required information from deal and tax teams
- Liaise and coordinate set up of structure with service providers/legal counsels
- Assist with co-ordinating transactional operations in view of signing/closing of transactions
- Ensure the follow up on corporate approvals ahead of signings/closings and organize board meetings accordingly (director & advisor availability coordination; notices & board pack preparation, as well as follow up on board minutes)
- Liaise with advisors/notaries/service providers in Luxembourg and across various European countries, understand the signing/closing mechanics and timing constraints to ensure smooth completion of transactions
- Depending on the nature of the transaction (share deal), make sure necessary corporate and operational changes are made on closing to enable a smooth transition of operations
- Collect target/asset information to enable the onboarding of the newly acquired companies/assets in internal systems
- Review and circulate legal documentation to the companies’ directors
- Ensure thorough hand over to the legal team post-closing and provide ad hoc assistance on queries in relation to the transactions/structures
- Set up of the structures on internal databases and ensure the corporate information is accurate and complete, as well as maintenance of corporate documentation
- Assist with the upload and categorisation of legal and corporate documents on the company database and with the filing of legal and corporate documents

**What you’ll bring**
- Open personality with a ‘can do’ attitude
- First experience in the corporate administration ( ideally transactions) required ( 1-2 years of Junior) - ( 2-4 for Officer )
- Ability to build close and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Team player with the ability to also work independently
- Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders in and outside the company, and able to explain to colleagues with other fields of expertise
- Resourceful individual with demonstrated ability to work in an organized and productive way in a very fast-paced environment
- Flexibility required in deal time
- Good business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on requests received
- Experience dealing with databases
- Excellent oral and written communication English skills
