**Job Description**:
We have a superb and rare opportunity for a lawyer with between 2 - 5 years’ experience in the corporate / M&A or commercial practice of a law firm or in-house.
Our client offers you the chance to work on a range of private equity, real estate and infrastructure transactions in their city center based office. The company offer you a dynamic and supportive environment, with the option to work up to 2 days a week from home. You will be a great team player, and work with integrity, efficiency and accuracy.
This is a true Counsel role, in which you support the Head of Legal.
You will:
- Provide legal advice on a range of investment transactions in PE, RE and infrastructure
- Provide advice on compliance with local and international regulations and laws
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts
- Ensure that the company template documents are appropriate and regularly reviewed to ensure excellence
- Work to minimize legal risk to the company and its group entities
- Manage transaction closings
- Work on ad hoc advice and legal projects as and when they arise, providing advice memo’s or in person.
Our client has a separate team of Company Secretaries.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Possess excellent English language skills
- Have around 3 - 5 years of experience gained post qualification / education in a similar field (M&A, finance, commercial), such as in a law firm, investment firm, or a Big-4 company
- You’ll have a minimum Masters in Law. Ideally, you may also have passed the CCDL, or possibly have held an EU legal qualification.
- You will be a great team player, and work with integrity, efficiency and accuracy.
- Have at least a year of prior Luxembourg based experience.
