Redstone Legal, Risk & Compliance Search are working with a European payment institution who are looking for a Legal & Compliance Manager to set up a new desk in Germany.
**Key Responsibilities / Tasks**:
- Be the point of contact for all legal and compliance matter for Germany.
- Control the regulations reporting and be the local representative for regulators and external third parties.
- Assist in opening accounts for clients, providing help and responding to queries.
- Managing the risk responsibilities, reporting and mitigating potential exposures.
- Role reports into CEO based in Luxembourg.
**Key Qualifications / Experience**:
- 5+ years’ experience in financial legal or compliance (AML) positions within a financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of local and European legal regulations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in French is advantageous.
- Must have a driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
- The role will be based in Germany (location flexible).
