HR Specialist for Operational Efficiency

About the Role:
Arendt & Medernach, a leading independent business law firm in Luxembourg, seeks an HR Services & Operations Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing contracts, administering new joiners, managing absence, and providing quality administrative support for all HR processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review contracts for new joiners
- Support in administering new joiners, including follow-up of hiring formalities, management of personal files, and entry documents
- Absence Management: encoding of leave and illness in our HRIS, follow-up of extraordinary leave, and quality control of encoded data
- Quality administrative support for all HR processes related to time management, individual data, hiring, and leaving management
- Participation in internal HR process optimization projects
Your Profile:
- Graduated in Business Management, Administration, or Human Resources (higher education courses, Bac+3/Bac+4)
- Recognized for your rigour and organization, with great analytical and synthesis skills
- Proactive and high sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Fluency in French and good command of English; German is considered an asset
- Very good command of IT tools (MS Office and particularly Excel)
