Manager, I&TS Corporate Communications
**What is the opportunity?**
An opportunity to join a fast-paced, results-oriented team responsible for enhancing and protecting the reputation of RBC Investor & Treasury Services in Luxembourg, primarily through innovative and differentiated employee communications and through external communications as required.
As Communications Manager you will provide communications support to RBC I&TS senior leadership and contribute meaningfully to RBC’s high performing culture, and its purpose and values.
**What will you do?**
- Support leadership teams to deliver employee communications relating to all areas of the business
- Build employee engagement through leadership and employee events, Corporate Social Responsibility, diversity and HR programs
- Identify and escalate issues which may impact employees and RBC’s brand in the region
- Produce professional communications materials/collateral, including: positioning statements, corporate messaging, Q&As, briefing documents, speaking notes and PowerPoint presentations
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of internal communications and develop best practices and template approaches that can be shared across internal communication team members for optimal efficiency and impact.
- Support profile building for our business and promoting corporate image in the marketplace
- Monitor local media for coverage of RBC and topical issues affecting our industry
- Support the communication related to CACEIS transition

- Degree essential
- Proficiency in English: excellent English writing and editing skills and fluency in French
- Ability to understand the business environment, key business and company culture issues, and translate into effective communication programs and messages, both at a global and local level
- Ability to meet consistently high standards for quality while handling a variety of projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Aptitude to work on complex issues and develop deep understanding of the financial industry

RBC I&TS has entered ino an agreement with CACEIS with a view for CACEIS to acquire the European asset servicing activities of RBC Investor Services and its associated Malaysian centre of excellence. While the timing of the closing of the deal is dependent on many factors including customary regulatory and antitrust approvals, we anticipate the sale of IS Bank in Continental Europe and Malaysia to CACEIS will close in Q3 of 2023.
