Senior Analyst, Fund Risk Management Support Client Representative
**What is the opportunity?**
As a member of an expertise center for investment compliance and risk management, you will participate to the daily activity of RBC’s Fund Risk Management Support team, ensuring that Management Companies are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. The service being provided at the end of the value chain, you will be able to grasp the different aspects of this value chain in the scope of your Client facing role. You will be participating on Client workshops, Service Review, Due Diligence and validation of new investment compliance legal rules review and testing.
You will also get the opportunity to develop your communication skills by being in direct contact with Clients and other departments of RBC I&TS. You will be exposed to new Compliance Investment restrictions issued by the European Regulatory and CSSF.
**What will you do?**
- Once received the FRMS Oversight Production Assurance greenlight, you will be ensuring that Management Companies FRMS services and reported are delivered in an accurate and timely manner;
- Analyze and answer potential questions from Clients in relation to any Investment Compliance restrictions, 4Cs report, Liquidity risk, Leverage report for UCITS and AIF, Collateral risk report, etc;
- Validation of active breach notification related to the Circular CSSF 2002/77;
- Participate to projects related to new investment compliance legal rule, supporting the business requirements process and the appropriate test;
- Review and understand how to calculate active breaches financial impact calculations;
- Make sure all your assigned Clients have signed the Investment Compliance Management Agreements and follow up any annual review.
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
- Very good Technical & financial knowledge of risk management environment, investment strategies & regulatory framework (UCITS Directives, ESMA guidelines, European national laws applicable to UCIs) with at least 2 years’ experience in the Investment Compliance field;
- Good knowledge of financial products, derivatives instruments and Collateral processes;
- Good communications (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Mandatory English and French language (Written / Oral) Proficiency
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office (word/excel).
**Nice-to-have**
- Italian and German language is considered as an advantage
- Degree in Economics, Finance or Business Management
- Follow Investment Compliance Restrictions courses
- Knowledge about LDC
