Are you driven by developing new business and partnering with clients to deploy innovate fintech technology? Are you passionate about identifying new clients and have a hunter mentality? Convera is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to acquire new business across the education vertical in the United States.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Business development and pipeline management for the education vertical
- Lead client meetings to present the Convera value proposition and close new business
- Collaborate internally with sales and product leadership to deploy innovative global payment solutions
- Partner with clients to implement marketing best practices and generate transaction volume
- Meet defined business targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain understanding of the global education market and broader business/economic landscape to enhance your ability to meet and anticipate client requirement
- Self-starter with a hunter mindset and comfortable working in a remote environment
- Strong experience within the fintech industry
- Previous experience selling SaaS products preferred
- Experience managing pipeline through Salesforce
- Background in higher education preferred
- Highly self-motivated and confident, with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition
- Contribute a positive team environment and fully embrace diversity.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills across all media, as well as ability to use technology (e.g., MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, reporting tools and sales automation platforms such as Salesforce)
- Financially astute with knowledge of business needs/concerns, as well as the commercial impact of global news and events
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- **Fluent in English and another EU language is mandatory**
