**ATOM Introduction**

Additive Manufacturing (AdM) is the most rapidly growing and highest-value market segment of the global powder metallurgy industry.

ArcelorMittal has recently decided to enter the market of ferrous powders for additive manufacturing. With the ATOM project, ArcelorMittal will build an industrial scale powder atomisation facility and establish a specific stand-alone business unit to commercialise the production of 1000 tonnes per year.

**MISSION**

The Business Development Manager, reporting directly to the unit’s CMO, will have responsibility for developing customer base and sales, promoting our offer and developing business opportunities, with a particular focus on the German-speaking market which is the #1 target market.

This position will be home-office based, with significant travel expected.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Identification and evaluation of potential business opportunities, especially in the German market, with a focus on metal-based powder bed fusion technology
- Develop and execute tactics to reach prospects and collect commercial leads.
- Develop customer base and sales to increase market share.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and partners in the additive manufacturing industry in Germany
- Develop understanding of the value chain at customers and further down the value chain
- Collaborate with technical team and R&D to provide customers with product information and support, including but not limited to processing of our material on customers powder bed fusion printers
- Attend trade shows and events to promote our products and network with industry professionals

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sciences
- 5+ years of relevant working experience in commercial and/or consulting roles in Metal Based Additive Manufacturing Industry
- Experience in production of prototypes or parts by additive manufacturing, would be a plus.
- Results oriented person with a strong focus on delivery and ability to work collaboratively across multiple and diverse teams, functional areas and job levels.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing business opportunities in the German market
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in German and English. Other languages (especially Spanish and French) a plus
