Task Responsibilities:
Input of data according to instructions of customs and export control entities
Take necessary actions with Cargolux Stations worldwide to get issues solved & shipments released
Coordinate with other departments within Cargolux
Proceed with shipments status checks for every flight to or through the US
Instruct and share processes with the handling agent and Cargolux Stations
Assist customers & Stations when required
Keep all the parties informed about the status/condition of their freight status
Maintain records of activities
Ensure system updates & transmissions are processed in due time
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or equivalent (e.g. Kaufleute für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen preferred)
Previous experience and knowledge in a similar position could be considered as an advantage
Be fluent in English. French or German will be considered as an advantage
Have good knowledge of standard IT products, MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work on shifts in a team or alone
Ability to establish and maintain good customer relations
Ability to perform error free and without constant supervision
Strong time management skills and being able to perform tasks within tight deadlines
Working Conditions:
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
Be flexible with working hours and ready to work weekends / legal holidays
Working days Monday-Sunday, 4-5 days/week, working hours between 6 am and 10 pm
Standby coverage or night shift may be required for out of office hours
Position based in Luxembourg
