On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Luxembourg, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:

Project Support Officer (PSO) (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg -

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Services are provided to assist the organization in achieving the intended outputs and outcomes of the relevant projects and programs.
  • Perform project related tasks as required.
  • Provide analysis, management information, and reporting.
  • Document and track any or all of requirements, plans, risks, issues, actions, costs, schedules, benefits and other related project artefacts.
  • Document required meeting outputs and artefacts.
  • Ensure that the project and program work is compliant with documented standards, templates, and frameworks, and captured in agreed toolsets.
  • Support project and program awareness and communication.
  • Review possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve or escalate as appropriate.
  • Provide other relevant support as required by the project manager or PMO manager.
  • 23 years of experience in leading small or supporting medium to large scale projects.
  • Very strong English.
In a very challenging environment, our client is looking for a dynamic and proactive Project Support Officer (PSO) who will support a team of project managers and business analysts coordinating IT strategic projects

Full Project Support Office activities.

  • Proactively support Project Management Teams for project initiation, project life cycle support and project closing.
  • Track and monitor Project deliverables including full document management via Alfresco as well as deadline tracking with projects teams.
  • Organize coordinate, prepare and followup project meetings (agendas, including minutetaking for some meetings, ATBTs etc.).
  • Organize & coordinate the central PM/PMO repositories (sharepoint, Alfresco, etc).
  • Support requirements definition and quality assurance of program management tools and methodologies.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently on all the above items at all levels within the organization.
  • Be a point of contact for the Project Management and Project Office team, ability to follow up on their daytoday issues and questions.

Mandatory skills and experiences:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable to work and produce good results under pressure within a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English mandatory (C1 on the CEFR scale or mother tongue).
  • Knowledge of French or any other language is an asset.
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and report issues/delays.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word,MS Project is a plus ) and Sharepoint.
  • Ideally knowledge of SUMMIT and AGILE methodologies.
