**THE COMPANY**:
Our client is a global Alternative Investment Fund Manager. They are looking for a Chief Compliance Officer for their Luxembourg office.
**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the overall compliance function of the Company and supported in the day-to-day duties by the Compliance Team
- General supervision of compliance in accordance with the regulations in force.
- Review and/or implementation and monitoring of procedures, internal policies and compliance charter;
- Responsible for corporate governance on both AIFM level and for the funds under management of the AIFM;
- Assessment of risks or violation and implementation of corrective measures;
- KYC review; Management of requests for approval of high-risk and PEP accounts;
- Oversight of Due Diligence and KYA procedures;
- Regulatory surveillance;
- Contact person for goAML (AIFM and fund level);
- Training and awareness of teams in terms of compliance, regulations;
- Management of the Compliance Committee work;
- Proactively advise the Board on regulatory obligations and expectations;
- Act as a key contact for local authorities (CSSF, etc.) as well as for internal/external auditors
- Perform RC function to funds
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- Strong AML/ CTF knowledge and experience (5+ years in financial services, asset manager), preferably if previously approved by the CSSF as Conducting Officer for compliance
- Fluency in English
- mandatory, other languages would be an advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Autonomous and detail oriented
