The Compliance Officer assists the Chief Compliance Officer in monitoring and assessing impact of new laws, regulatory developments, and market practice in Luxembourg as well as functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within the organization.
Ensuring that the Boards, management, and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behaviour in the organization meets the company’s Standards of Conduct.
Assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring appropriate engagement with the Regulator, Boards, management and Group Chief Compliance Officer on relevant Compliance related issues.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in the Fund Industry in Luxembourg with a compliance or regulatory advisor background
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg investment fund managers (UCITS Man Co/AIFM) and Luxembourg / Irish investment funds
- Analytical, problem solving with business analysis skills
- Track record of innovative thinking, execution of ideas into reality and project management experiences
- Excellent Communication Skills with good interpersonal skills
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive matters
- Ability to prioritize issues at a company level
- Good understanding of operational controls framework
- Fluent written and spoken English (additional European languages would be an advantage)
