Human Innovation Partners is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (COO) with fluency in German in order to join an Asset Manager structure mainly focused on Private Banking and Institutional Portfolio Management.
As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance across the organization. Your main objective will be to ensure that our company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will work closely with the executive team and various departments to establish and enforce compliance policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for conducting regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement appropriate corrective actions. Additionally, you will oversee the development and delivery of compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant regulations and promote a culture of compliance within the organization.

**Responsibilities & areas of activity**:
You will be responsible for the compliance and governance areas of the company and lead a small team.
Your area of activity will include regulatory compliance, prevention of money laundering and terrorist and terrorism financing, MIFID II, as well as complaints management and monitoring and compliance with corporate governance in accordance with the guidelines of the local supervisory authorities.
Your area of responsibility will be expanded to include data protection and outsourcing management.
In the initial phase, you will analyze the existing compliance apparatus and implement, develop, and revise the existing compliance processes and guidelines.
As Chief Compliance Officer, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in the company's decision-making processes,

To this end, you will be an integral part of the company's committee structure.
In addition, you will be available to employees as a competent contact person for the above-mentioned topics and maintain relationships with external compliance departments (insurance companies, banks), authorities (insurance companies, banks), authorities, internal audit, auditors and the Supervisory Board.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a leadership role
Extensive knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory requirements and industry best practices - German Regulatory knowledge is a plus.
Fluency in both written and spoken German is mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
In-depth understanding of compliance audits and risk assessments
Professional certifications in compliance are highly desirable
Strong commitment to ethical conduct and promoting a culture of compliance
