Short descriptionWe are searching for an experienced Chief Officer with a strong background in dredging to join our worldwide working client's expanding dredging crew.This role specifically involves working as Chief Mate on a hopper dredger, focusing on larger hoppers.Function descriptionAs the Chief Mate on a hopper dredger, you will play a crucial role in the dredging operations. You will work closely with the vessel's master and share responsibility for overseeing the dredging process. This role encompasses managing engineers, pipe operators, sailors, and the cook, ensuring that their tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
