Head of Loan Execution Luxembourg Belgium

The Lending function at Quintet is represented in Luxembourg, the Nordics, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and the UK. The Loan Execution team is an integral part of the end-to-end process on our delivery of lending solutions and services to our clients. As Head of Loan Execution for Luxembourg / Belgium and the Nordics, you will be key in driving excellence and transformation of the lending business, targeting improved efficiency in the lending operations, increased standardisation and automation, reduced costs and delivery against Client Service Level Targets.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Act as the senior leader of the Loan Execution team covering Luxembourg, Belgium Nordics.
- Own the Loan Execution part of the Lending business by ensuring Client Service Level Targets are met and processes are run efficiently and in accordance with policies. This includes administration of credits and related lifecycle events such as bookings, drawdowns, post drawdown processes as well as controls of renewals, property valuations, insurance certificates, annual credit reviews etc.
- You will work closely together with the Lending Advisory and Loan Execution teams as well as with other internal stakeholders.
- Act as a senior leader for the Lending transformation and implementation of new workflows and promote functionalisation in the different locations.
- Generate synergies by streamlining processes and alignment across locations.
- Ensure that regulatory obligations for the lending business are met.
- Business owner of Lending reporting (Financial and Credit Risk). Ensure appropriate data quality and harmonisation

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Proven lending experience, ideally within the private banking/wealth management sector
- Strong understanding of EU regulations (credit consumer regulations, MCD, etc.)
- Extensive experience in the end-to-end lending process, ideally during transformation
- Experience of leadership / line management, guiding and developing colleagues in achieving targets and in their personal development is preferred

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of core banking systems like G2
- Good knowledge on Business Intelligence & Data Management
- Expert knowledge on MS Office

**Languages Skills**:

- Fluent in English
- French or any other language would be an asset
