Reporting to the Head of Department, as the lead for our Know Your Asset (KYA) activities, you will be responsible to conduct assets due diligence on all investments and related parties in line with AML/CFT regulations and within the delegation framework as established between Alter Domus and its Client. You will also provide services in support of on-going life cycle management including Asset data management, ensuring that all Asset-related information remains accurate and up to date.

**YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Your responsibilities will encompass managing the Know Your Asset (KYA) team, driving technology adoption and process optimization to enhance efficiency, Client support and ensuring a high-quality of Asset Due Diligence experience for Alter Domus Client.

Specifically, you will:

- Lead and oversee the KYA team at Alter Domus, ensuring a professional, timely, efficient and effective assets due diligence experience for our Client.
- Ensure Alter Domus’ full adherence to AML/CFT requirements in accordance with relevant regulations, maintaining the integrity of the KYA process.
- Lead a high performing team, supporting training, development and engagement of employees at all levels, understanding their capabilities including developing a pipeline of talent.
- Anticipate, plan and execute on resource needs to support Assets lifecycle management activities.
- Ensure the team has a solid knowledge and understanding of the industry, legislation and regulation and of ADs working practices to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Drive a culture of compliance and risk control through identification and anticipation of potential risks, together with timely escalation and/or resolution.
- Maintain a relentless focus on KPIs under your remit.
- Act as escalation for the Client & ensure ownership on any issue resolution and remediation.
- Actively role model a high-performance culture with clear accountabilities, driving cross functional collaboration and act as a primary escalation point for all Assets lifecycle management related activities.

**YOUR EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- 15+ years of experience in Financial Services/Fund Services industry/Transfer Agency /Compliance and have a strong AML/KYC background (preferably in European regulatory domiciles); a previous experience on AML on Investment would be an asset.
- Experience in creating and leading world-class Client Delivery teams with a proven track record of working across multiple jurisdictions within a matrixed environment.
- A proven track-record in unlocking value and efficiency in the core processes, tools and technology that underpin an operations function.
- Demonstrate ability to build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring the right pipeline of talent is ready to be deployed to deliver high quality client service.
- Deep AML/KYA technical knowledge - ability to support/challenge with evidence and reference to appropriate laws and regulation.
- You will have experience in managing projects with competing demands and an ability to prioritise effectively

**YOUR PROFILE**
- You will have 15+ years industry knowledge including in-depth experience in AML/KYC/KYA fields & Fund Transfer agency.
- You will have strong data analysis & data interpretation skills including ability to report on findings and observations.
- You will have strong verbal and written communication skills.
