Senior Treasury Manager
To bolster our Treasury Department in Luxemburg, Huntsman is looking for an experienced Senior Treasury Manager who can develop and deliver operational plans in line with the overall treasury strategy.
As a Senior Treasury Manager, you are the main point of contact for EMEA banking relationships. In this challenging role you will drive the organization's liquidity optimization by mitigating its financial, operational, and reputational risks.
You will do this by managing a team of treasury specialists who focus on inhouse banking, worldwide foreign exchange risk management and Securitization Program management, among other tasks
As the Senior Treasury Manager, you will:
- Manage a significant portion of Treasury Department financial management and control processes.
- Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates. Lead execution of complex reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations
- Analyse key themes, identify possible impacts on the business and provide recommendations for both short & long term.
- Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement Treasury's strategy and business plan.
- Manage relationships and act as a business partner with internal clients such as Business Divisions, Tax, Accounting, and Legal.
- Build high levels of professional credibility and mobilizing appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
- Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
- Coach and mentor the team to support their development and identify gaps and development activities.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A degree within Finance (Master’s degree preferred) or relevant field with 10 to 15 years of work experience in manufacturing companies with a global presence, preferably within the chemicals sector.
- Previous work experience in leading a team and planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives.
- Strong knowledge of FX, Securitization and inhouse banking.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with people on all levels, both internal as well as external.
- Strong project management skills with the skill to bring structure and discipline in a continuously changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to act as a change agent to promote continuous improvement within the discipline.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Treasury Management Systems (experience with Kyriba is an advantage)
- Fluent in English, fluency in any other European (DE/NL) language is preferred.
