The GEB Network, composed of more than 100 local insurance companies, is one of the leading partners in the international employee benefits management field, servicing more than 1,500 international corporate customers.
For our Luxembourg Headquarters, we are looking for a Insurance Technical Excellence Specialist (M/F/O)
- The Insurance Technical Excellence Specialist will be involved in those activities (non exhaustive list):
- Support the design and update of the technical requirements applicable to the Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) solutions and assist on the protections quotes for Pool and Captives;
- Contribute to the steering of the group Policies and Guidelines implementation;
- Support the analysis of peak exposures, also in coordination with Group Head Office (GHO) including the support of medical underwriting from network partners for Individuals who are above a scheme’s free cover limit;
- Support the effectiveness of outward reinsurance covering GEB portfolio and contribute to its definition and monitoring in cooperation with GHO;
- Provide support on the evaluation of the technical aspects of Network Partners (NP) agreements and technically support the due diligence process on NPs onboarding;
- Contribute to the definition and deployment of the technical and underwriting Framework setup with NPs (e.g.GUG, Renewal guidelines);
- Contribute to the definition of the operating limits in respect of technical authorities and to the relevant implementation and monitoring;
- Support the implementation of a solid claims management process and monitoring within GEB and help steering the process with NPs and internal stakeholders (Claims referral, ex gratia, claims notification to GHO);
- Proactively support ad hoc technical studies and analysis
Key attributes:
- 5 years of experience in a similar role is required
- Previous experience in Insurance or Reinsurance company (ideally company with international scope) in technical oriented role (actuarial/technical excellence/portfolio management/reinsurance underwriting)
- Master degree in Insurance, Actuarial or Economics/Mathematics/Finance related fields
- Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic aspects of decision making
- Curious, dynamic, proactive, not afraid to take ownership
- Resilient with strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Team player with high appetite for transversal collaboration
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of English, any other language would be considered a plus
