**Tax Specialist**:
The role:
Reporting to the Tax Compliance Director, you will:

- Review direct and indirect tax returns & correspond with the tax advisors and flag anything unusual to the team.
- Participate in, as well as coordinate, projects related to the improvement of the tax reporting internal processes.
- Maintain internal compliance tools and keep a track record of all tax related requirements in those compliance tools.
- Perform oversight of general tax compliance; ensure companies have paid advances and taxes, VAT amounts, filed all returns on time.
- Liaise with Luxembourg tax authorities for direct and indirect tax reporting, audits, and automatic exchange of information.
- Review tax provision calculations prepared by the team.
- Ensure CBC filing and notifications are done when applicable.
- Coordinate or handle any ad-hoc tax queries/projects (e.g. DAC6, Country-by-country reporting, TP reports, etc.)
- Coordinate Luxembourg and foreign VAT registration and deregistration

The profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in tax; ideally with exposure to PE, RE and debt investments
- Good understanding of tax and accounting techniques and procedures
- Good command of excel.
- Fluency in English. French is a plus.
- Team-player with hands-on mentality
- Strong issue resolution skills - Strong interpersonal skills to work with other team members
- Ability to work independently and accurately and good organizational skills
- Pro-active, service-minded and commercially aware.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills: ability to digest, interpret and communicate detailed technical information.
- Proactively seeking opportunities for process(es) improvement(s)
