Founded in 1856, the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg is the oldest multi-business bank in the Grand Duchy. Employing more than 1 800 people, the BIL is present in the financial hotspots that are Luxembourg, Switzerland, and China.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Governance Product Management team in the management and oversight of product governance for BIL Group to design, develop and implement the global products strategy;
- The Governance Product Management team is 1) in charged with ensuring that the products developed by BIL meet the needs bank clients and comply with relevant regulatory requirements and 2) manages the two committees globally responsible for the approval (and monitoring) process of new products, significant changes in products, pricing, commercialisation rules, target market and termination of products.

As the team leader, you will be responsible for the achievement the main missions of the team Governance Product Management:

- Organisation and management of the two committees in charge of the product approval process: preparation of the agenda and supporting documents, drafting of the Minutes, follow-up of decisions and business cases;
- Work hand to hand with Business lines and control/support functions to design products that meets client needs and fit with regulatory requirements;
- Support idea requestor through the whole approval process: analysis, business case, governance matters;
- Maintain up to date BIL Group product governance framework( Charter, Policy, TOR, Templates) and coordinate with BIL entities (in Luxembourg and abroad);
- Address Audit (internal/external) and supervisors (CSSF/ JST) questions related to product governance;
- Definition, implementation and monitoring of the Target Market for financial products;
- Develop and communicate updates to senior management.

Must Have Requirements

**Domain of expertise**: Banking and Insurance products, corporate governance.

**Education and/or expected experience**:

- Master in economy, finance or business administration or equivalent;
- 3y-5y of experience in banking industry as product manager/owner or in position offering transversal knowledge of bank/insurance products and services (project manager, audit, process, ).

**Languages** : French, English.

**Banking techniques**
- Knowledge in Banking and insurance products, services and activities;
- Knowledge of multi-asset class investments and the regulatory environment applicable to them (such as MiFID II, PRIIPs and ESG regulations) is a plus (not mandatory);
- Adhere to best corporate practices (i.e. compliance, risk identification, );

**Personal skills**:

- Strong organizational and problem solving skill;
- Ability to quickly analyse business practices to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities and develop innovative solutions;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with across all levels of seniority and functions with confidence, and to develop effective partnerships with key business partners.
