Technical Sales Officer

As a **Technical Sales Manager**, you will be responsible for developing business and driving the commercialization of ArcelorMittal’s **steel foundation and associated products**(sheet piles, foundation pipes, beams, tie rods, accessories) across the **Nordic Countries, Italy (Malta, Cyprus, Greece), and Oceania**.
This role blends **commercial strategy**, **technical expertise**, and **customer relationship management**to grow our footprint in these markets. You will work closely with regional sales organizations, sales agencies, and internal departments to reach performance targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**Strategic & Commercial Responsibilities**
Achieve budget targets in terms of volume and margin (margin over scrap) across assigned regions.
Collaborate with regional sales teams to execute marketing and sales plans.
Provide techno-commercial support to local sales networks and sales agencies.
Respond to customer inquiries with technical expertise and tailored product solutions.
**Sales Operations & Support**
Lead contract negotiations, credit management, and order processing.
Coordinate with internal supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and service.
Manage and resolve customer claims effectively and promptly.
**Market Intelligence & Reporting**
Conduct market analysis and provide insights to support regional strategy.
Monitor and report on budget performance.
Contribute to personnel and sales team management within the assigned regions.
**Your profile**
Master's degree or Engineering Diploma
Academic background in Structural or Civil Engineering
Fluency in English is required, proficiency in French, Italian, or a Scandinavian language is a plus.
Proven experience in direct stakeholder engagement, ideally within the construction or steel industry
Solid expertise in commercial and contractual processes
Strong entrepreneurial mindset - result-oriented, dynamic, and open-minded
Experience working in a project-based, multicultural, and dynamic environment
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Willingness to travel across the assigned territories.
