Portfolio Management Analyst

**About BTG Pactual**:
**The role**:
We are looking for a dynamic Portfolio Management Analyst to join an international team of professionals in our Luxembourg office on a full-time permanent basis. You will be working alongside our global offices and in frequent communication with international teams so both teamwork and communication skills will be paramount.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Portfolio Monitoring and Performance Analysis (Track portfolios against benchmarks, observe daily fluctuations, ensure data and prices are correct)
- Generate periodic reports for clients and internal teams (Prepare client presentations, communicate portfolio performance and liaise with HNW clients)
- Conduct research on financial markets (macro analysis, industry trends and provide insights on the different asset classes)
- Assist Portfolio manager in asset allocation and rebalancing decisions.
- Monitor Internal controls (client cash flow, margin requirements, trade executions, etc.)
- Have a good working relationship with other teams that engage with Portfolio Solutions (Finance, operations, trading, legal,...)
- Ensure portfolios meet regulatory requirements and specific guidelines
- Stay updated with financial regulations
- Assist in audits and compliance reviews.

**Skills and experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or Economics,
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel with VBA or Python is a plus,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Attention to detail and data accuracy,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Fluent oral and written English and Portuguese, German would be considered an asset,
- 5 years of experience in investment firms,
- Ability to thrive in an internal culture that points to innovation, customer service, internal partnership, and entrepreneurship,
- Team player capable of working effectively with various business partners and senior International mindset,
- Operate with high level of integrity and risk awareness,
- Ability to perform multiple tasks,
- Advanced communication skills to address problems and discuss solutions w/ multiple areas,
- Analytical and logical thinking capabilities.
