- We are seeking a **Risk Analyst**to join our dynamic European Risk & Compliance team for our office located in Luxembourg. As a member of our Risk Management department, you will assist senior professionals, learn on the job, develop relevant skills, and take on responsibility for dedicated projects.**About this role**:

- As a Risk Analyst with a focus on Real Estate, you will assist in identifying and managing risks associated with our Alternative Investment Fund portfolio across EMEA, APAC, and US. You will support our international Investment and Compliance teams to help ensure our Real Estate investments are made in a way that balances potential returns and regulatory compliance.**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Risk Assessment Support: Assist in conducting risk assessments for Real Estate investments, including due diligence on potential investments, and understanding market conditions.
- Risk Mitigation Assistance: Aid in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to help optimize the risk-return profile of the Real Estate portfolio.
- Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring Real Estate investments comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Stay updated on changes in European’s financial and real estate regulations.
- Monitoring and Reporting Assistance: Support in monitoring the performance of Real Estate investments and help in reporting to the Risk Management team.
- Stakeholder Communication: Assist in communicating risk-related findings, strategies, and action plans to investment managers and senior executives.
- Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and market dynamics to support risk management strategies.
- Team Participation: Actively participate and learn in a team environment, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Risk Management department.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Participate in data mining, processing, and visualization to support risk assessments and reporting. Utilize coding skills (such as Python) and work with databases (such as SQL) to extract, analyze, and present data-driven insights.

**Professional education**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- You have successfully completed your studies at the university or already have your first work experience in the finance industry (e.g. Big4, consulting companies, AIFM);
- You are keen to gain knowledge of Luxembourg’s regulatory environment and are curious about regulatory developments in other European countries;
- You are interested in developing analytical, modeling, and data interpretation skills;
- You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
