M&G has been present in Luxembourg for over 10 years. In 2016, to support our expanding international business we have established a new legal and corporate Management Committee structure in Luxembourg which is both a UCITS manager and an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). We also have setup a firm to carry out distribution of the Management Committee's funds and services, which is a MiFID firm with 7 branches and subsidiaries in Europe and acts as a nascent investment manager as well. With the significant growth experienced in our business, M&G is ranked top 15 amongst the Luxembourg UCITS Management Committees and top 3 amongst AIFM Management Committees with further projects underway to further strengthen and develop our European operations, making Luxembourg the central platform for our European and international development.**The Role and Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the oversight of the Luxembourg portfolio management delegations in line with legal agreements, product mandates and regulatory requirements;
- Collect, centralise and analyse the indicators and reports received from the portfolio management delegates and external service providers;
- Monitor and analyse the funds' investment performance;
- Participate in periodic and ad-hoc due diligence reviews on portfolio management activities;
- Participate in incident management and remediation oversight;
- Monitor fund liquidity in collaboration with the M&G Risk teams;
- Assist in the product development and product management process;
- Prepare periodic portfolio management reports and summaries to key governance bodies;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant investment teams within the portfolio management delegates;
- Participate in the ongoing enhancement of portfolio management oversight processes and tools; and
- Provide input and challenge on behalf of Luxembourg Portfolio Management at fund oversight meetings.

**Requirements and Experience**:

- Knowledge of the AIFM and UCITS Directives and experience with relevant Lux fund structures;
- Experience in working in multi-functional and cross-border teams;
- Be aware of and have a good understanding of different investment strategies and asset classes;
- 5-7 years experience in a similar position is an advantage;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Self-motivated with ability to handle change positively;
- Qualifications: University degree in mathematical, finance or economics
- Relevant professional qualification completed or in progress is an advantage; and
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
