**Lux-Advisory **is a company specialized in project management and business analysis. Our consultants take part in European or
International projects. To support the increase of our activity, we are currently looking for a **Portfolio Performance Analyst -**
**Middle and Back Office.**

**Mission**
In support of Middle and Back Office and Portfolio Performance Division (the “MBO”), the consultant will provide the following
services:

- Investment analysis and reporting:

- Run existing portfolio performance macros to analyse the investment activity and performance of investment
portfolios
- Conduct performance attribution analysis by using Bloomberg PORT
- Report the results to internal stakeholders and to the relevant committees
- Perform data quality checks on data feeds for portfolio analytics tool
- Investment portfolio benchmarking:

- Calculate benchmark positions at rebalance
- Input new benchmark composition into the financial system
- Monitor and report on portfolio’s relative performance against benchmarks (tactical and strategic)
- Take part in the initiatives that aim at further developing in line with client’s annual strategic objectives, such as, for

example, the implementation of new instruments, tools, and systems:

- Assist with the business case definition
- Define and test requirements
- Validate the translation of business requirements into I.T. specifications
- Work in close collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives
- Contribute to other activities:

- Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and the financial software environment to ensure safe recording
and adequate checks on financial operations
- Monitor operational risk with relevant internal risk staff (identification of risks, definition of adequate control

processes, follow-up of incident database and possible action plans)

**Skills**
**Technical skills**:

- University degree, preferably in finance/banking/economics
- Minimum 5 years of professional finance/banking experience including hands-on experience in a similar position
- Good understanding in financial products, including valuation, with an emphasis on fixed income
- Solid understanding of the operational environment of a financial markets organisation, including portfolio and risk

management
- Good knowledge of portfolio performance measurement analysis, preferably focused on fixed income assets
- Experience in using the IT systems that are prevalent in banking and/or trading and/or portfolio management is

required, including position management and order management, in an asset management environment. Experience
with Bloomberg’s PORT is required. Experience with Murex is an advantage
- A professional investment analyst qualification or certification in investment performance measurement would be an

advantage
- Advanced Excel skills and VBA programming skills would be an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English
