Our community is developed and cared for at the Foundry Venue in Luxembourg, offering a space to work and network as well as a place for events and meeting customers and gathering teams, all in an unusual and creative setting. A key component of our community development is the provision of high quality, flexible, and reliable hospitality services. For this reason, we are looking for those with experience and drive to join us in this quest to manage our outdoor beer garden.

**The Job**

Foundry is looking for a **Bar Manager** to run our unique in-house beer garden from May until September, with the possibility of continuing with us for the Autumn/Winter season.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and creative Bar Manager, with years of proven experience to run the everyday operations of the beer garden as well as planning and giving support for events. You will also manage the inventory, stock and resources and ensure that quality and safety controls are followed. We would like to hire someone with creative ideas and plans on how to find the best way to make this place unique and popular.

The opening times will be from Thursday until Sunday (starting with afternoons and evenings). Opening times are flexible and depending on weather, performance, other needs etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the everyday aspects of the bar.
- Being in charge of the resources, stock and inventory.
- Planning and catering for events.
- Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma.
- Proven hospitality or management experience.
- Strong understanding of the Food and Beverage industry.
- Mixology knowledge (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts.
- Languages: English (required), French (preferred), Luxembourgish (preferred)
- Flexible and collaborative mindset
- Potentially delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
- Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced environment.
