In Luxembourg we are a team of 50 people (lawyers, support staff and trainees) and provides a full range of advisory and litigation services in all areas of business law to Luxembourg and international clients in a wide range of sectors. We provide a full range of legal services, with a particular focus on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, tax, investment funds, banking and finance, structured finance, real estate, and restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy. About the role
You will be part of a dedicated team and will support the practice by assuming such responsibilities as:
Representing creditors and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies and private companies in financing transactions;
Contributing to a broad range of banking and finance matters, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, syndicated transactions, mezzanine and subordinated debt facilities, asset-based financings, acquisition, recapitalization, and other leveraged financings across a variety of industries;
Documenting, structuring, negotiating and closing commercial finance transactions; and
Helping build relationships with clients.
About you
You are a dynamic, proactive and motivated professional with:
- Master's degree in civil law
- 2-3 years of legal experience in commercial lending transactions within the Banking and Finance department of a recognized law firm in Luxembourg
- Qualified in Luxembourg law
- Fluent in English and French; proficiency in any other language is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Quick learner with a strong drive for excellence
- Solution-oriented approach
